Proud to be part of the HQR Cup
Team Ideaworks battled through this 12 hour charity endurance race for an amazing cause.
Our industry is made up of fantastic companies and people who collaborate on so many of the world’s most amazing homes and yachts.
We love the opportunity to be able to come together and do something great with the people we work with. The work of HQR London has created a community within our industry, providing an opportunity to get involved with various charitable events.
So, when the chance came along for us to enter a team into the Cyclothon UK HQR Cup, some of the crazy keen cyclists in our company signed up, and some of the even crazier amateur cyclists signed up too!

Cyclothon UK is essentially a team endurance relay race. As it turns out a very competitive race with a mix of trained athletes, amateurs and industry professionals, all there to raise money and push their physical limits. It unfolds over 12 hours around the Brands Hatch GP race track. The winner is the team who complete the most laps within the 12 hours. Congratulations this year goes to team Darke & Taylor.

Sheer grit, determination and a lot of energy bars got us through the 12-hour ride which was harder, longer and more exhausting than we had quite imagined. But overall, the team work, laughs and general atmosphere made it an amazing day to be a part of. We were also joined by some guest riders in our team, Christopher Miners of Christopher Miners and Mark Murphy from Exclusive Residential. Both put in an exceptional performance and were somehow still smiling and laughing by the end of it!
We are pleased to have supported HQR London and their charitable work. But also proud of the funds we raised for another charity very close to the hearts of the Ideaworks family.
4Louis provide useful tools, equipment and training free of charge to hospital units, hospices and other professionals who sadly have the job of comforting grieving families who suffer a miscarriage, stillbirth or child death.
Thank you to all those who donated and helped us exceed our fundraising target.
