Working Together

We have always recognised that we will achieve more together than we could ever hope to accomplish apart. It is that desire that led Ideaworks to help co-found PRIME. A not-for-profit focused on promoting responsibility and integrity in the maintenance of our environment. A forum for ideas, solutions, challenges and ambitions that go towards accelerating positive change in our environment and community.

The PRIME score works by measuring a company’s efforts against six core principles. The PRIME Principles:

  1. Being Environmentally Better
  2. Embracing Sustainable Innovation
  3. Spreading the Word
  4. Delivering Impact
  5. Making a Difference
  6. Being Accountable

As attitudes of companies and their approach to the environment, sustainability, diversity and their charitable aims continues to come into focus; Ideaworks adopted the PRIME scoring methodology as a means to hold ourselves accountable. It is all too easy to talk about ambitions for net zero on some far distant date, but Ideaworks are taking actions now. Actions that can be measured and therefore improved on year by year.

We have just been scored for our third year and I will be honest – this year was tough. Gone are the easy wins and instead, we are having to roll up our sleeves and get stuck into the more challenging areas. On the plus side, our R&D team are making exciting progress on our solutions for clients who are keen to embrace sustainability.
