We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Blinds Fitter to join our expanding shading team.

In your role supporting the Senior Fitter, you will have the opportunity to work in some of the most super prime residences across London; installing, maintaining and servicing the finest quality automated blinds and curtains.

This is an area of our business in which we are seeing fantastic growth. This could be a great opportunity for you to develop new skills and progress within an expanding team of experienced professionals, who share a wealth of knowledge and industry experience in designing, supplying and installing a wide range of custom motorised blinds and shading solutions to meet the specific needs of each of our client’s homes.

Not sure if you have the skills required? It doesn’t matter. We aren’t necessarily looking for someone who has the readymade skill set. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn with a ‘can do’ attitude and a keen eye for detail.

We’ll take care of any training required to ensure you can fulfil your role and develop your abilities.

You will be working on site with the Senior Fitter to install our blinds and shading solutions to the highest standards that our clients expect from us and that we continue to deliver as a company. Often you may be on site with other Ideaworks engineers working on Lighting and AV installation and programming which is a great opportunity to be involved with other aspects of what we deliver.

On many of our projects we are delivering a fully integrated solution of lighting, AV, blinds and curtains which makes you an important part of the team all working together to deliver a project which meets the specific designs and specifications drawn up by our design team.

And we know that mistakes can happen. But with your knowledge of the installation and methodical approach to completing the work, we can call upon you to rectify any issues which may occur so that by the time the installation and commissioning is completed and handed over to our Aftercare team, they can be safe in the knowledge that you are there to support where needed.

You may be involved in several projects which vary in size and scale but with full support from the Senior Fitter you will be able to take a hands on approach to each project and follow it from start to finish.

Our engineering and installation team take pride in their work and often there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the creative technological solutions produced by our blinds and shading team come to life!

Applicants from any background are welcome to apply, although an interest and understanding of hand tools, DIY, fitting, carpentry etc. would be an advantage.
